Job Description
Join Cervello, a Kearney company, as an Anaplan Model Builder. We are seeking an experienced finance systems professional with hands on experience with Anaplan both functionally and technically. We are looking for someone with a background in consulting who has implemented full end-to-end projects in the past.

EPS Practice

Hybrid with core offices in Boston / New York / Dallas

Responsibilities

  • 1-2 years of business consulting/implementation experience with Anaplan or multi-dimensional systems such as Cognos, Hyperion, Business Objects, TM1 etc. or spreadsheets 

  • Subject matter expertise in financial or operational management systems, including financial modeling expertise 

  • Ability to translate from model-building in Excel to multi-dimensional technologies. 

  • Strong understanding of data integration (inbound and outbound) 

  • Full end-to-end experience with implementations of Planning implementation, from scoping and requirements, to design and build and on to testing and training 

  • Maintaining shared services, metadata, security, artifact objects (task lists, rules, data forms etc.) 

  • Ability to design and create Dashboards and financial reports using Smartview 

  • Design and creation of backup and recovery operations of the Planning application 

  • Design and creation of automation batch Scripting 

  • Excellent understanding of accounting fundamentals. P&L, BS, CF 

  • Good understanding of typical data sources such as ERP solutions 

  • Performance tuning 

  • In depth knowledge of at least 2 industry verticals (e.g. Pharma, Finance, Energy, etc.) strongly preferred. 

  • Facilitate process change with clients and be confident with advising senior management. 

  • Developing design documentation which is well structured 

  • Developing and Configuring Hyperion Planning including writing complex business rules 

  • System testing

We are looking for skills in one or more of the following areas: 

  • Working in cross-functional team involving technical and functional consultants and the end user 

  • Developing solution roadmaps, writing user stories, and articulating solutions to the stakeholders as this role involves discussion at various levels with business stakeholders 

  • Technical knowledge, to the extent of troubleshooting and analysing data 

  • Requirements definition, business analysis, design, systems integration, interface design and implementation. 

  • Developing functional specifications as well as test plans and tested scenarios using OUM methodology. 

  • Team player 

  • Excellent communication skills 

  • Solid written skills 

  • Ability to dive into the details to convert business requirements to actionable items 

  • Ability to work efficiently 

  • Multi-tasking skills a must
